Safety and Security Intern — Summer 2027

The Safety and Security Intern role is onsite at Little League International’s headquarters in South Williamsport, PA. Pay is $18 per hour for up to 35 hours per week. Little League is a nonprofit youth sports organization supporting youth baseball and softball in communities worldwide. The intern assists with emergency management and security operations in preparation for and during the Little League World Series. Administrative, event staffing, training, and equipment support help protect personnel, facilities, and assets at the complex and event.

What you'll do

• Assist with security badges and credentials
• prepare training materials and set up training sessions
• maintain training certification records
• assist with recruiting, hiring, badging, onboarding, and scheduling event/security staff
• contact event staff when requested
• help maintain and order supplies
• support staff orientation and equipment distribution
• use Little League data and volunteer systems
• organize correspondence
• perform administrative and clerical duties
• maintain confidentiality
• assist with emergency plans and preparedness.
