What you'll do

• Direct day-to-day nursing personnel functions
• ensure staff compliance with facility policies and procedures
• review department manuals and recommend revisions
• provide discipline and evaluations
• plan shift services with assigned personnel
• maintain nursing procedures
• report on shift activities
• coordinate nursing services with other resident services
• participate in quality assurance and inspections
• assist with resident admissions, transfers, discharges, and discharge planning
• complete incident reports and administrative documentation.
