The Travel Registered Nurse (RN), Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool role is onsite in Tucson, AZ, for a 13-week assignment from August 10 through November 7, 2026; pay is $62–$64 per hour. The assignment is at a Level I Trauma Center and includes a 36-hour workweek on night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The role exists to provide high-acuity nursing care across the float pool’s assigned units and campuses. The nurse cares for adult medical and surgical patients, manages cardiac monitoring and drips, adapts to changing unit needs, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.

What you'll do

• Care for high-acuity adult medical and surgical patients
• manage cardiac monitoring, drips, and complex conditions
• float across the Progressive Care Unit, Intermediate Care, Medical-Surgical, and Observation units, and occasionally care for ED hold or PACU patients awaiting inpatient beds
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across both campuses.
