Driver Class B Trainee — Sales and Service Route

Compensation is $55,107–$71,348 per year. The Driver Class B Trainee role is onsite in Freeport, NY; Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors subsidiary, provides environmental, energy, and industrial services. The trainee learns to operate a Class B box truck and provide route-based customer service, including servicing parts washer machines, collecting containerized hazardous waste, and offering products and services to customers.

What you'll do

• Complete scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups
• exchange solution drums at customer locations
• complete required documentation and labeling
• identify leads and sell additional products and services to existing accounts
• and follow safety, environmental, and transportation requirements. Obtain a CDL B within 180 days of employment and HAZMAT and tanker endorsements within 30 days of obtaining the CDL B.
