What you'll do

  • Assist with sorting-room operations and cross-train in sorting functions
  • clean and maintain the work area
  • bale items as needed
  • sort donations and separate saleable from unsaleable goods
  • process, hang, tag, and price merchandise
  • sort and clean shoes, accessories, linens, books, toys, furniture, and electrical items
  • test electrical and furniture donations as required
  • maintain merchandise in the required order
  • support beneficiaries through professional conduct and work habits.
