Certified Surgical Technologist (PRN) This is an onsite, PRN position in Springfield, TN. Compensation is not specified. TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is part of HCA Healthcare. This role is responsible for pulling cases, scrubbing cases, and assisting the physician with surgery. It requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technician program, certification, and current BLS certification. Experience in general, GYN, Urology, Plastics, and Orthopedics is preferred.

What you'll do

  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Promote customer service initiatives.
  • Function as scrub person during operative procedures.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
  • Assist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing technical duties as assigned.
  • Deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What we're looking for

Education
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program
Experience
Must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technician program. Surgical Technician certification required. BLS Certification current. 1 Year of surgery experience preferred in the following areas: General, GYN, Urology, Plastics, and Orthopedics.
