Reconditioning Production Lead (Paint & Cosmetic)

The Reconditioning Production Lead (Paint & Cosmetic) role is onsite in Avondale, AZ. Compensation is described as competitive but no numeric amount is specified. The role supports Carvana’s Inspection Center vehicle reconditioning operation and its 150-point inspection process. As a front-line supervisor, the lead manages and develops hourly associates to meet production and quality targets. The role coordinates vehicle movement, repair or rejection decisions, coaching, and adherence to safety and quality standards so vehicles meet Carvana’s standards before reaching customers.

What you'll do

• Manage safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center
• meet inventory production goals
• oversee team activities and identify development needs
• coach and manage performance
• communicate expectations and goals
• resolve team conflict
• ensure adherence to policies and standards
• review and approve identified defects
• partner with the General Manager on repair or rejection decisions
• train associates on quality control standards
• complete repairs effectively and safely to minimize rework and delays.

Why this role
