What you'll do

• Assist with day-to-day pathology and microdissection operations
• review pathology reports to identify specimen primary sites
• identify and collect tumor and normal tissue areas using microdissection and macrodissection techniques
• identify missing or incorrect information and open discrepancies
• organize slides and data
• prioritize and handle specimens and chemical waste according to laboratory procedures
• perform required quality control and quality assurance tests
• document equipment operation and maintenance.
