What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment safely
• perform machine and conveyor start-up and shutdown, including loading raw material
• make tooling and fixture changes and adjustments
• complete records and forms
• inspect parts visually and dimensionally
• clean chips from tooling and parts
• escalate malfunctions and part discrepancies
• preset tooling
• perform preventative maintenance
• modify speeds, feeds, and part programs as required
• diagnose program alarms
• suggest process and schedule improvements
• train others
• repair, replace, or modify equipment when required.
