The CNC Machinist I role is onsite in Carol Stream, IL. Compensation is $23–$27 per hour, with the final rate based on experience and a successful interview. Prince Industries is a manufacturing partner producing components and assemblies for industries including hydraulics and aerospace. The machinist operates machine tools to produce metallic and nonmetallic workpieces that meet specifications. The role contributes to production quality by interpreting technical drawings, securing workpieces and tooling, checking dimensions, and performing routine machine upkeep.

What you'll do

• Operate machine tools including lathes, milling machines, secondary equipment, and grinders
• verify workpiece conformance using measuring instruments
• interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• secure tooling and workpieces
• observe daily preventative machine maintenance
• perform additional duties as assigned, which may include department transfers to meet production needs.
