The Project Manager, Heavy Civil Construction role is onsite and field-based in Deerfield Beach, FL. Compensation is $80,000–$120,000+ per year. The position supports an established heavy civil construction company in the Deerfield Beach area. The project manager takes ownership of heavy civil projects from planning through completion, coordinating field and office stakeholders while managing schedules, budgets, documentation, and risks. The work helps keep roadway, utility, earthwork, and similar infrastructure projects on schedule and within budget.

What you'll do

• Manage heavy civil construction projects from planning through completion
• coordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal leadership
• manage schedules, budgets, change orders, invoices, and documentation
• track progress and identify delays, cost issues, and risks
• review plans and specifications
• support estimating and preconstruction when needed
• maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
