Tube Laser Operator – 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)

What you'll do

• Follow safety policies and procedures
• coordinate workload with the Manufacturing Supervisor
• download part programs to the machine controller
• adjust the tube laser to address slag, burn-through, burrs, and other conditions
• use measurement instruments for first-piece and blue-tag inspections
• obtain inspection approval
• work with Engineering to resolve production issues
• train new associates on equipment and processes
• troubleshoot basic machine errors
• load material and record production in Plex. May assist Maintenance with issues beyond basic errors.
