Direct Support Professional

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Delbarton, WV, providing in-home and/or community-based support. Compensation is $14 per hour. The position supports consumers through MLIH’s services and waiver program. The professional assists consumers with daily needs, training, and community participation while helping implement individualized plans and behavioral supports. Accurate documentation, safe transportation, and adherence to program guidelines contribute to consistent, person-centered support.

What you'll do

• Assist consumers with toileting and dressing as needed
• participate in developing Individual Program Plans
• document services and activities
• implement behavioral intervention techniques
• transport consumers to community activities in a personal vehicle
• provide respite
• and follow state and federal Waiver Program guidelines. Maintain current driver, vehicle, and insurance information and CPR/First Aid certification.
