CNC Setup Machinist

The CNC Setup Machinist role is onsite in Andover, MN. Compensation is $30–$40 per hour, with hours from 5:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Dahlquist Machine by Fathom produces precision parts, and Fathom operates an on-demand manufacturing platform. The role supports production by loading, monitoring, and adjusting CNC machines and checking parts for quality. Careful operation and coordination with machinists and supervisors help maintain safe, efficient production and on-time delivery.

What you'll do

• Load and unload raw materials and finished parts
• monitor CNC turning and milling cycles
• perform basic tool-offset adjustments under direction
• deburr and clean parts
• conduct visual and dimensional checks with calipers and micrometers
• maintain a clean work area
• communicate machine status and quality concerns
• stage and move work in process
• follow quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
