The Senior Site Director, Youth Programs role is onsite at an assigned elementary school site in Anchorage, AK. The pay range is $24.58–$28.49 per hour. Camp Fire Alaska runs after-school and summer programs that help youth develop social, emotional, physical, and academic skills. The director plans, manages, and supervises a site serving youth in grades K–6, including program staff and an assistant site director. The role oversees daily program delivery, staff coaching, safety and ratios, communication with families and school staff, and timely administrative work.

What you'll do

  • Plan, manage, and supervise the assigned youth-program site
  • supervise program staff and the assistant site director
  • maintain required staff-to-youth ratios and program schedules
  • support youth behavior guidance
  • ensure administrative work and food-service standards are completed
  • communicate with school staff and families
  • coach and provide feedback to staff
  • assist with hiring, orientation, and training
  • attend meetings, shop for supplies, and complete project and administrative work.
