Toddler Lead Teacher

The Toddler Lead Teacher role is onsite in Byron Center, MI, with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule. Pay is $17–$21 per hour, based on experience and credentials. The role is part of The Learning Experience’s early childhood education team. The teacher leads toddler classroom routines and learning experiences, implements the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and supports children’s development, safety, and daily care. The role also communicates with families and guides Assistant Teachers to maintain a consistent classroom environment.

What you'll do

• Lead daily toddler classroom routines and learning experiences
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• create hands-on activities for language, movement, creativity, and exploration
• encourage independence and social-emotional development
• support meals, diapering or toileting, rest, outdoor play, and transitions
• observe developmental progress
• communicate with families
• collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• maintain a safe, clean classroom and follow Michigan licensing requirements.
