The Site Coordinator/Supervisor, Child Care role is onsite in Edison, NJ, with pay of $19 per hour. The position supports a Metuchen-Edison YMCA child care program site under the direction of the Senior Child Care Director. The coordinator supervises staff and daily site operations to maintain a safe, organized, and developmentally supportive environment for children. The role helps ensure program standards are followed and maintains communication with families and outside organizations.

What you'll do

• Supervise staff and set daily schedules
• serve as a liaison with YMCA parents and outside organizations
• ensure health and safety guidelines and licensing requirements are followed
• maintain child registration and emergency records
• coach staff and conduct monthly staff meetings
• ensure adequate supervision
• conduct and log monthly fire drills
• submit attendance sheets
• order supplies within budget
• maintain CPR/First Aid certification and ensure staff certifications are current
• assist with activities
• communicate with parents
• maintain a clean facility and follow closing procedures
• support activities aligned with Creative Curriculum
• attend required meetings.
