Job overview

The Dispatcher role is onsite in Paola, Kansas, with a Monday–Friday schedule and work hours of 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; start and stop times may vary with production needs. The hourly pay range is $19–$21. GardenCore manufactures lawn and garden products and operates manufacturing facilities across the United States. The dispatcher coordinates deliveries and shipping operations among sales, customers, company drivers, and external trucking providers. The role supports timely and accurate order fulfillment by planning routes, preparing documents, checking orders, and tracking delivery and shipping activity.

What you'll do

• Prepare invoices, delivery tickets, and shipping documents
• plan delivery routes and assign drivers
• coordinate with customer service on product availability and logistics
• take customer orders
• inspect shipping equipment
• verify orders against delivery tickets
• coordinate company and independent drivers and external trucking companies
• review loading and unloading reports and delivery logs
• submit daily invoicing to accounts payable.
