The role also documents wound measurements, educates residents and families, and demonstrates wound-care procedures to other caregivers.

What you'll do

• Maintain and update comprehensive care plans for skin impairments
• participate in weekly wound rounds with a wound consultant
• document weekly wound measurements
• review investigations for new pressure-related skin openings
• monitor vascular, arterial, and surgical wounds and coordinate follow-up when indicated
• educate residents and families
• demonstrate wound-care procedures to caregivers.
