Manufacturing Engineer / Quality Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer / Quality Engineer role is based in the U.S., with periodic travel to China; the listing location is Bountiful, UT. Compensation is not specified. The role reports to the VP of Manufacturing and serves as a technical and quality liaison with BoxHouse’s overseas suppliers. The engineer develops manufacturing processes and quality plans, addresses supplier issues, and drives continuous improvement so products meet specifications, cost and delivery standards, and production needs.

What you'll do

• Support new product introduction from prototype through mass production
• review manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions
• conduct DFM and DFA reviews
• identify process risks and corrective actions
• develop quality plans and inspection standards
• lead root-cause analysis and CAPA
• manage supplier quality issues
• conduct supplier audits
• support PPAP/FAI
• report quality metrics and risks
• travel internationally to China as needed.

Why this role
