Technology Coordinator

Job overview

The Technology Coordinator is an onsite, part-time role based in Chicago, IL. The pay range is $30.00–$40.00 per hour. This role exists to develop, implement, and monitor the technology program for the school. The coordinator provides leadership in hardware and software acquisition, maintains network infrastructure, and trains staff on technology competencies to support the educational program.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with staff in providing leadership for short and long range planning for all technology initiatives.
• Support Head of School, administration team and teaching staff in integration of technology in the ongoing instructional program.
• Prepare and maintain records, files, logs, spreadsheets and reports.
• Plan, develop, and implement technology staff development activities.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software.
• Install, assemble, and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot problems with computer systems.
• Act as a technical resource.
• Make hardware and software acquisition recommendations.
• Oversee the inventory of all technology assets.
