What you'll do

• Verify medications and perform final dispensing quality checks
• review patient profiles, interactions, sensitivities, and medication use
• enter prescriptions
• respond to patient medication questions
• contact physicians to resolve questions
• support therapeutic interventions and patient services
• maintain quality assurance, controlled-substance security, and hazardous-drug disposal procedures
• guide supporting colleagues and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
