The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is onsite in Clearwater, FL, providing care in patients’ homes, facilities, and/or inpatient units. Compensation is not specified. The CNA reports to the Clinical Care Manager and supports Gulfside Healthcare Services’ patient-care mission. The role provides personal care and assistance with activities of daily living while helping patients maintain independence and well-being. By recording care, observing changes, and communicating with the RN or case manager, the CNA contributes to coordinated, quality care for patients and families.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
• take and record vital signs and report abnormalities to the RN
• assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and equipment use as directed
• maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control and universal-precautions procedures
• document each visit
• promptly report changes, incidents, and complaints
• participate in interdisciplinary care communication
• offer emotional support to patients and families.

Why this role

Requires current Florida CNA certification, current CPR, a valid Florida driver’s license, and auto insurance. Experience caring for terminally ill patients and people with life-threatening illness is required; one year of experience is preferred.
