The Wire EDM Field Service Technician role is onsite in Dayton, OH, with a stated pay range of $24.73–$28.03 per hour. The position supports service of Mitsubishi Machining products for customers at their facilities and by telephone when appropriate. The role requires 100% travel, primarily in the United States, with some international travel possible. The technician diagnoses and resolves complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems, helping customers restore and maintain machine operation. The work includes troubleshooting, repair, testing, customer communication, and documenting problems and resolutions.

What you'll do

• Travel to customer locations to diagnose technical problems and perform on-site repairs
• examine machines mechanically and electrically, dismantling and rebuilding as needed
• troubleshoot by telephone
• communicate with customers
• interpret schematics and block diagrams
• document product problems and resolutions.
