The Medical Assistant I – Allergy and Immunotherapy role is primarily onsite in Scottsdale, AZ, and may also support nearby Phoenix locations. Compensation is $18–$25 per hour. The role supports Modena Allergy & Asthma’s allergy and immunotherapy team in a physician-led specialty practice serving pediatric and adult patients. The position helps deliver safe, organized patient care by preparing patients for visits, administering prescribed treatments under protocols, assisting with testing, and documenting clinical information. It contributes to patient safety and a consistent care experience across clinic locations.

What you'll do

• Greet patients and assist with intake and visit preparation
• provide general care and administer prescribed allergy and immunotherapy injections
• educate patients and families on immunotherapy protocols and safety
• monitor and document vital signs, treatment responses, and post-injection observation periods
• assist with skin testing, patch testing, and pulmonary function testing
• calibrate and operate pulmonary function testing equipment
• maintain clean, stocked exam and injection rooms
• document vitals, test results, and care summaries in the EHR
• sterilize equipment and follow HIPAA and OSHA standards
• support limited prior authorization submissions when requested
• assist LVNs or RNs during procedures as needed.

Why this role

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Active Arizona medical assistant certification and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) are required; 1–3 years of clinical medical assistant experience is specified.
