The Embedded Software Engineer – Manufacturing Test Development role is onsite in Brea, CA. Compensation is $130,000–$146,500 per year. The engineer supports development and testing of RAVE In-Flight Entertainment hardware products for commercial passenger aircraft. The role develops and validates software and automated test systems used to verify hardware, support production, and improve manufacturing readiness. It works with hardware, embedded software, design and manufacturing engineering, and contract manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure products can be tested reliably.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and validate C++ test software for hardware validation, factory acceptance testing, and performance verification
• design, debug, and deploy automated test applications, stations, fixtures, scripts, and equipment integrations
• support new product introduction, production testing, sustaining issues, and manufacturing improvements
• troubleshoot hardware/software failures and identify root causes
• review and validate requirements
• produce software, test procedure, and release documentation
• participate in design, code, and peer reviews
• provide estimates and status
• contribute to DevOps and CI/CD improvements.
