The New Graduate Registered Nurse Residency, 5B General Surgery role is onsite in Arlington, VA. Compensation is $40–$47.48 per hour. VHC Health’s approximately one-year paid residency supports new graduate nurses through a structured preceptorship and monthly cohort sessions. The registered nurse provides direct and indirect nursing care to assigned patients and supervises assigned personnel. The residency supports the transition from nursing school to professional practice through clinical experience, education, and development of clinical reasoning, decision-making, leadership, and evidence-based practice skills.
