Plating Operator

Job overview

The Plating Operator role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA. Pay is $22–$30 per hour. Sierra Circuits manufactures and assembles printed circuit boards, including complex prototypes, at its Sunnyvale facilities. The operator processes PCB orders through plating, cleaning, etching, and related steps while following work instructions and safety requirements. Product inspection, process logs, and equipment checks help maintain quality and production flow.

What you'll do

• Process orders through copper, acid/tin, electroless copper, nickel, and gold plating and associated cleaning steps
• perform resist and solder stripping and copper etching
• complete process analysis logs in TrueChem
• perform chemical preventive maintenance and product inspection
• follow work orders and process instructions
• comply with chemical, waste, and equipment safety procedures
• support production management and engineering with product flow, quality, timeliness, and process testing.
