The Transportation Driver, Child Care Center role is onsite in Saint Johnsbury, VT. Compensation is $17–$20 per hour. The driver supports daily transportation for ABC & LOL Child Care Center & Preschool, serving children ages six weeks to 11 years. The driver transports children safely and punctually, communicates with families and staff, and maintains required records and vehicle readiness. Careful supervision and compliance with transportation and childcare safety requirements help the center provide reliable service to families.

What you'll do

• Transport children to and from the center and occasionally to field trips or special activities
• communicate pickup and drop-off times and locations
• maintain logs
• deliver center paperwork to caregivers
• keep the center-provided van clean, organized, and fueled
• supervise children during loading and unloading
• ensure appropriate child restraints
• report vehicle maintenance and safety concerns
• follow transportation laws and childcare regulations.
