Behavior Technician

The Behavior Technician role is an onsite position located in Silver Spring, MD, with a pay range of $20.00–$30.00 per hour. This role supports the Comprehensive Disability Therapy team in providing evidence-based interventions for individuals with disabilities. The role exists to assist behavioral analysis teams by implementing behavior improvement plans and collecting data on client progress. The technician works directly with clients to foster independence and social inclusion while ensuring high-quality care under the guidance of senior mental health professionals.

What you'll do

• Complete 40-hour training and state licensing exam
• provide direct ABA services
• build rapport with clients
• collect progress data
• write detailed notes
• conduct evaluations
• manage client behaviors
• provide feedback for parent education
• attend staff meetings.
