The Senior Building Automation/HVAC Controls Technician role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ. Compensation is $35.00–$45.00+ per hour based on experience and certifications. Kelso Building Services supports commercial, healthcare, education, industrial, retail, and mission-critical facilities with building automation service and smart-building technology. This technician services, maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and optimizes building automation systems and integrated technologies. The role also supports customers through remote diagnostics, system analytics, and technical guidance, while mentoring junior technicians and helping facilities operate effectively.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair building automation control systems and field devices
• diagnose HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and controls issues
• perform preventive maintenance and service inspections
• support controller upgrades, commissioning, testing, and system optimization
• configure alarms, trends, dashboards, and analytics
• use remote monitoring tools to identify issues
• maintain documentation and system backups
• serve as a technical contact for assigned accounts
• mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
