The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Weekdays role is onsite in New York, NY. Compensation is $25 per hour. Richmond Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is a 372-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility on Staten Island focused on residents’ quality of life, dignity, and independence. The CNA supports residents’ daily care and comfort by observing and reporting health concerns, assisting with personal hygiene and meals, keeping resident spaces tidy, transporting residents within the facility, and repositioning bedridden residents to help prevent bedsores. The role requires completion of a CNA program, current state certification, and good standing with the state registry.

What you'll do

• Observe residents and report health issues to the supervising nurse
• assist with personal hygiene, meals, and nutritional supplements
• document food and fluid intake
• make beds and keep resident spaces clean
• transport residents within the facility
• turn bedridden residents to help prevent bedsores
• maintain confidentiality.
