What you'll do

• Provide instruction in assigned classrooms and small-group support
• implement teachers’ routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
• maintain a safe and orderly classroom
• report injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems
• use instructional materials and multimedia or computer technology
• collaborate with other professionals
• monitor student behavior and provide social, emotional, and learning support
• travel with students on field trips as needed
• move students using wheelchairs or other mechanical devices as required
• attend professional development days.
