The veterinarian evaluates and treats emergency cases, communicates diagnoses and treatment options to customers, and performs emergency procedures. The role contributes to timely, customer-focused emergency care for pets, including exotic animals, while working with the hospital team.

What you'll do

• Answer medical questions by phone
• triage and examine patients
• gather histories, presenting complaints, vital signs, and examination findings
• conduct diagnostic procedures
• diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans
• communicate options and estimates to customers
• maintain accurate medical records
• perform emergency surgeries and endoscopic procedures
• educate customers on aftercare and prevention.
