The Solar & Energy Storage Estimator role is onsite in Moorestown Township, NJ, with a stated salary of $100,000–$150,000 per year. The role supports Madison Energy Infrastructure’s Development team and its work developing, investing in, and operating distributed clean-energy projects. The estimator prepares project cost estimates and supports technical and financial evaluation of solar photovoltaic and battery energy storage projects. The work helps optimize projects and develop competitive bids through analysis of project documents, vendor pricing, lifecycle costs, and collaboration across engineering, development, and procurement.

What you'll do

• Develop cost estimates for solar PV and BESS projects
• maintain cost databases and estimating tools
• analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals
• support BESS augmentation strategies and lifecycle cost analysis
• manage EPC bid processes using Procore
• solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing
• assist with bid preparation and RFP responses
• identify value engineering opportunities
• track market pricing
• collaborate with engineering, development, and procurement teams.
