Maintenance Technician — Facility and Plant Equipment

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Pittsburgh, PA, with rotating 4-on/4-off shifts from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Compensation is $21.23–$42.44 per hour. The role reports to the Crew Supervisor and supports the Direct Maintenance department. The technician maintains facility and production equipment to support safe, reliable plant operations. The work spans preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and improvement projects, including work on the Hot Dip Galvanizing line.

What you'll do

• Promote a safe work environment
• perform preventive maintenance and update the PM computer system
• respond to equipment failures and troubleshoot
• perform facility maintenance, alignment, calibration, installation, electrical, pipefitting, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, welding, and mechanical repairs
• apply electrical, electronic, and software skills to solve problems
• work on Hot Dip Galvanizing line components
• participate in projects to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and product offerings.
