Activity Assistant

The Activity Assistant is a part-time, onsite role in Beachwood, Ohio, with a schedule of 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., occasional late days for events, and every other weekend and holiday. It also documents participation and progress and helps maintain safe, engaging activity spaces.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and implementing activities that address residents’ physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs
• facilitate one-to-one, small-group, and large-group programming
• encourage socialization, participation, relaxation, and daily living skills
• document participation and resident progress
• maintain safe activity areas
• and motivate residents to take part.
