The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures in accordance with standards and practice set forth by the Medical Director of Radiology and Department Policies and Procedures.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate excellence by consistently producing MRI images of diagnostic quality on patients ranging from Neonatal to Geriatric. Follow established scanning protocols and operate the MRI scanner and related equipment efficiently and effectively. Complete quality scans in a timely manner, effectively organizes and prioritizes workflow to meet STAT and urgent demands. Demonstrate proficiency in scanning trauma, acute & challenging patients
• possess skill to modify positioning and scanning factors when standard cannot be performed. Possess knowledge of disease processes and image these findings adequately
• communicate them to the Radiologist. Demonstrate accountability for clinical responsibilities and safety practices in the MR department.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an American Medical Association-approved program in Radiologic Technology

Experience

One year of experience performing MRI – Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures
