What you'll do

  • Oversee food pantry deliveries and donation pickups
  • accept and log donations
  • weigh and record donations and pickups
  • rotate food using first-in, first-out practices
  • maintain warehouse and shopping areas
  • assign volunteer tasks
  • record freezer and cooler temperatures and rodent-trap checks
  • order, receive, source, and stock food
  • interview applicants for program eligibility
  • monitor and record food distributions
  • assist with seasonal events and resource gathering
  • follow program policies and procedures.
