Preschool Lead Teacher

The Preschool Lead Teacher works onsite in Lynnwood, Washington. Compensation is $20–$25 per hour. The Goddard School provides an early education experience intended to help children become confident learners ready for school and life. The lead teacher implements developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities, maintains a safe and nurturing classroom, and supports children’s learning and social-emotional development. The role also communicates with families and collaborates with assistant and resource teachers.

What you'll do

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum
• maintain a safe, nurturing, inclusive classroom
• communicate with families about children’s progress and daily activities
• supervise children and uphold health, safety, and licensing standards
• observe and document learning and development
• support assistant and resource teachers
• use positive guidance strategies.
