What you'll do

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental illnesses, substance use disorders, and behavioral issues
• collaborate with medical, mental health, and correctional staff
• document evaluations, progress notes, counseling, and treatment plans
• participate in patient education and group therapy
• maintain case files and reports
• participate in hearings
• monitor compliance with site and company policies and applicable care standards.

Why this role

Requires an active, unrestricted Georgia license as a qualified mental health professional and active American Heart Association BLS CPR certification. Correctional healthcare experience is preferred.
