Assistant General Manager, Restaurant Operations

The Assistant General Manager role is onsite in Deerfield, IL, with compensation of $23 per hour. CAVA’s mission is to make it deliciously simple to eat well and feel good every day. This role supports the General Manager in running restaurant operations, developing Team Members, and delivering strong guest service. It helps the restaurant meet its operational and financial goals through oversight of staffing, inventory, food safety, and service standards.

What you'll do

• Assist with daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing
• uphold food quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety standards
• oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control
• train, coach, and provide feedback to Team Members
• support scheduling and staffing
• address Team Member concerns
• respond to guest concerns and support satisfaction and loyalty
• track sales, handle cash, support budgeting, and prepare performance reports
• maintain operational records and implement action plans.
