What you'll do

• Advise inmates of legal rights and ensure legal-representation forms are completed
• search incoming inmates and record property
• fingerprint and photograph inmates
• dispense prescribed medication when necessary and at the proper time
• check cell doors and conditions
• account for inmates
• prepare inmates for court transportation.
