What you'll do
- Monitor clinical systems and deliver nursing care according to physician-ordered care plans
- assess residents and revise care plans as conditions change
- direct, develop, and supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- document care, interventions, and education
- administer medications and perform IV duties as ordered
- monitor resident progress, behavior, vital signs, symptoms, and skin
- coordinate with nursing leadership on resident and family concerns
- manage medication and refill orders, narcotics inventory, emergency kits, shift reports, and admission, transfer, and discharge procedures
- monitor staff performance and schedule adherence.
