Class A Vacuum Truck / Hydro Excavation Operator

The Class A Vacuum Truck / Hydro Excavation Operator role is onsite in Sacramento, CA. Pay is $28–$35 per hour. Arrow Construction is an underground utility contractor working on wet and dry utilities, directional drilling, potholing, patch paving, and concrete restoration throughout Northern California. The operator safely uses vacuum trucks and hydro excavation equipment to expose underground utilities and support trenching. The work helps utility crews complete field projects while protecting existing underground infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Operate vacuum excavation trucks and related equipment
• perform hydro excavation around underground utilities
• transport equipment and materials to job sites
• conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• maintain daily logs, DOT records, and job documentation
• follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations
• communicate with supervisors, crew members, and customers.
