The Strapping Line Operator — 2nd Shift role is fully onsite in Wheeling, IL, from 2 p.m.–10 p.m.; pay is $21–$23 per hour, with a $0.50-per-hour shift differential. The operator works in Wieland’s Finishing Department, supporting safe and efficient copper and copper-alloy production.

What you'll do

• Operate the strapping line safely and efficiently
• review orders and priorities in the WFS system
• prepare coils, skids, and packaging materials
• enter coil parameters and operate the machine
• monitor strapping quality and customer specifications
• record weights, label materials, and prepare pallets for logistics
• maintain housekeeping and safety standards
• reduce scrap
• and support continuous improvement.
