CNC Machinist — Second Shift

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Germantown, WI, on second shift. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour. Toolcraft Machining serves manufacturing operations, including aerospace manufacturing. The machinist sets up and operates CNC equipment to produce parts that meet blueprint dimensions and tolerances. The role supports accurate, safe machining through tooling and controller setup, in-process measurement, adjustments, and upkeep of the work area.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including 5-axis mill/turn equipment, CNC boring bars, vertical machining centers, and CNC lathes
• interpret blueprints and specifications
• determine tooling and setup requirements
• enter or retrieve program code
• monitor cutting operations and replace tools as needed
• measure parts against blueprint specifications and GD&T
• adjust controls to prevent out-of-tolerance machining
• maintain machine and work-area cleanliness.

Why this role

Requires 5+ years of CNC machining experience, GD&T, blueprint reading, and G-Code proficiency. Mastercam, job-shop, and overhead crane experience are preferred but not required.
