Job overview

The Propulsion Test Technician II role is onsite in Kiln, MS, at a government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi. Pay is $27.20–$40.80 per hour. The Stennis Test team designs, builds, and operates propulsion and stage test stands that support flight readiness for Relativity Space’s Terran R vehicle. The technician installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and supports propulsion test systems and facilities. The work helps keep test equipment operational and supports engine testing, facility modifications, and the team’s testing of integrated engines and stage assemblies.

What you'll do

  • Install, check out, troubleshoot, and maintain test stand equipment and hardware
  • fabricate, install, troubleshoot, and maintain fluid-system tubing and piping
  • assemble and maintain instrumentation and sensors
  • follow engineering procedures and test instructions
  • diagnose routine equipment issues
  • disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble valves and regulators
  • support test stand modifications and new facility construction
  • monitor inventory
  • identify corrective maintenance needs
  • assist less experienced technicians during routine work.
