Autobody Collision Junior Estimator / Customer Service Representative

The Autobody Collision Junior Estimator / Customer Service Representative role is onsite in San Mateo, CA, with compensation of $25–$32 per hour. The position is part of Chilton Auto Body’s Operations department. The role assesses collision damage and documents the work needed to return vehicles to pre-accident condition. It also guides customers through the repair process and supports repair scheduling, production coordination, quality checks, and accurate case files.

What you'll do

• Greet customers by phone or in person and explain repair, insurance claim, processing, and payment procedures
• photograph vehicles, map damage, and document intake files
• prepare estimates and supplements
• follow insurance Direct Repair Program guidelines
• support repair routing, paperwork, scheduling, repair monitoring, sublet coordination, and repair-time negotiations
• check quality standards and maintain accurate work files through delivery and closeout
• complete assigned training.

Why this role

Requires at least one year of collision repair experience and a valid driver’s license. Flexible eight-hour shift between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; Spanish or Chinese and CCC One experience are preferred.
