Residential Leasing Consultant

The Residential Leasing Consultant role is onsite in Alexandria, VA. Compensation is $19.23–$24.04 per hour. The position supports leasing, marketing, and resident relations for multifamily apartments. The consultant guides prospective residents through apartment selection and applications, supports move-ins and renewals, and responds to resident needs. These activities help maintain occupancy, resident service, and the community’s presentation.

What you'll do

• Greet and qualify prospects
• record visits and maintain guest cards
• inspect model and market-ready apartments and report service needs
• demonstrate apartments and explain features
• process applications and deposits under company procedures and Fair Housing requirements
• follow up with applicants
• prepare move-ins and resident paperwork
• assist with renewals
• monitor advertising and market competition
• respond to resident requests and maintenance issues
• support community cleanliness, events, and outreach marketing.

Why this role

A bachelor’s degree or at least two years of multifamily leasing experience is preferred but not required. The role requires a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends; Yardi or OneSite experience is highly desired.
